Practical support, lasting change.

The Alliance

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

If you’re a school leader looking for guidance on how to care for struggling student populations, you’re in the right place.

It’s not just you. Most school districts don’t have the high level of expertise or access to the resources needed to care for challenging student populations.

Teachers and administrators are overextended and burned out. They’re simply pulled in too many directions. But you're doing the best you can in the face of these increasing demands. You deserve to be recognized for your work and equipped for all of these new situations.

AVAILABLE SERVICES

School-Based Consultation Services

We partner with districts to create meaningful, lasting improvements that benefit students and their educators through program evaluation and development and complex student consultation, both with embedded professional learning.

Program Evaluation and Development

Our comprehensive Program Evaluation & Development services provide a thorough analysis of district-wide and building-level data to assess the effectiveness of educational programs and initiatives. This process equips educational leaders with the data-driven insights necessary to enhance program effectiveness, improve student outcomes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across the entire scope of the identified program. It is our goal for every evaluation to position you and your teams for meaningful and sustainable change that can be incrementally implemented over time.

ONE MONTH - THREE YEARS

Complex Student Consultation

Our Student-Centered Consultations include thorough analysis of student information to uncover insights to inform future interventions. We engage in direct onsite observations and staff feedback opportunities to form the foundation of your classroom environments and instructional methods. If you choose to continue case-specific services, we provide flexible support for educators that focuses on feedback and strategies to improve intervention effectiveness. Collectively, these services contribute to a well-rounded approach aimed at refining your team's educational practices and fostering student success.

ONE MONTH - ONE YEAR

Our Current Partnerships

We’re partnering with Penn State University to strengthen how we study and report what’s happening inside The Alliance - not just what we deliver, but what changes for students and teams over time. Through this partnership, we’re sharpening our methods so districts can see clearer patterns, stronger decision points, and practical takeaways that inform what to keep, what to adjust, and what to scale.

When situations are high-stakes, our student consultation approach holds up under scrutiny.

We’re school attorney–trusted because we’re careful, precise, and grounded in what teams can document, implement, and maintain across staff. We help districts move forward with clarity - without guesswork, overpromising, or loose ends.

Our track record as of SY25

Complex Cases

My work has always lived at the intersection of technical clarity and human reality - because in schools, those two things are never separate. I’ve supported teams through high-pressure moments, complicated student needs, and the kind of day-to-day strain that doesn’t show up neatly in a meeting agenda. I’m steady about the details and I’m equally serious about how it feels to carry the work.

The Alliance exists because districts deserve support that fits real school life. We come alongside teams to bring structure to what’s unclear, to tighten what’s inconsistent, and to help staff move from “we’re reacting all day” to “we have a plan we can actually follow.” We don’t chase perfect paperwork. We build usable systems, clear roles, and next steps that hold up on a Tuesday - with students, staff, and buildings that are already stretched.

Thank you for the work you’re doing. I know what it takes. And I’d be honored to support your team through The Alliance.

  • We’re a fit when a student’s learning or behavior needs are complex, patterns are hard to untangle, or the team wants a clearer plan that holds up across staff, settings, and times of day. We specialize in students with mental, social, emotional, and behavioral health disorders of all ages and in all settings.

  • A district point person or building leader can submit a request. If you’re not sure who that should be, book a call and we’ll help you choose the right starting point.

  • We start by gathering key context, clarify what “better” needs to look like, review what’s already been tried, then co-build a plan with your team and stay close enough to support follow-through. Learn more about our process here.

  • We guide the process, tighten the plan, and help your team see patterns and options clearly. Your team remains the primary implementers and leads day-to-day support in the school setting.

  • Yes, when it supports progress and clarity. We’ll align on purpose, roles, and next steps so the meeting stays useful and respectful of everyone’s time.

  • We identify a small set of practical indicators together, set a simple check-in rhythm, and adjust based on what the data and staff experience show.

Student Consult FAQs

Program Evaluation FAQs

  • Programs tied to student support and staff practice - intervention rooms, intensive supports, staff response systems, and other structures designed to position students with mental, social, emotional, and behavioral health challenges for success.

  • We’re not there to “catch” mistakes. We look at how a program is functioning in real conditions, what is working, what is getting in the way, and what changes are most likely to improve day-to-day results.

  • A structured look at the program purpose, how it runs, what supports are in place, what data exist, and what staff experience day to day - followed by prioritized recommendations that match your staffing and schedule realities. Learn more about our process here.

  • A clear summary of findings, practical recommendations, and an action plan you can use immediately - often with ready-to-use resources your team can adopt or adapt.

  • Yep! We can work with what exists, help you identify a manageable way to strengthen data going forward, and still provide useful conclusions and next steps.
